Join the celebration as the City of St. Louis officially recognizes Ted Drewes Day in honor of one of the city’s most beloved frozen custard stands, Ted Drewes Frozen Custard. On April 25, Ted Drewes marks its 96th year of serving up sweet treats with a day full of special offers and hometown pride.
To celebrate 96 years, stop by the Chippewa Street stand on Route 66 for 96-cent single-scoop cones or 96-cent single scoops served in a hometown baseball team helmet.
And don’t miss a special appearance from Fredbird, the Cardinals mascot, from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m.
Since opening its iconic Chippewa location in 1941, Ted Drewes has been a Route 66 favorite and a St. Louis tradition. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or first-time visitor, Ted Drewes Day is the perfect time to enjoy a scoop and be part of the celebration.
