Celebrate the Mother Road with a weekend of transportation history, community fun, and Route 66 spirit at the Route 66 Roads & Rails Festival. Hosted by the Wheels Museum, this free two-day event welcomes every type of wheel—cars, trains, bikes, and more—at the historic Albuquerque Rail Yards.
Visitors can enjoy live music, family activity zones, local food trucks, vendors, special talks, and exhibits highlighting New Mexico’s rich transportation and Route 66 heritage. Festival programming also includes trolley, bike, and walking tours.
