The event features an exciting lineup of guest speakers, each bringing unique insights into the mystery of Bigfoot. Harold Benny of Southern Illinois Sasquatch will kick things off at 10:00 a.m., sharing his research and personal encounters. At 11:00 a.m., Joe Jenkins and Jim Peters from The Sqwatchers will present their latest findings and theories. David Eller of P.U.R.S.U.E. takes the stage at noon to dive deeper into the scientific side of Bigfoot investigations. A special Q&A panel at 1:00 p.m. will bring all the speakers together, giving attendees a chance to ask burning questions about the elusive creature.
Beyond the speakers, the festival offers a variety of interactive and family-friendly activities. Visitors can take part in Bigfoot-themed games, scavenger hunts, and fun photo ops with life-sized Bigfoot displays. At 2:30 p.m., the Bigfoot Holler Contest will test the best Sasquatch calls, with prizes awarded in two age categories. Kids and adults alike will love the energetic atmosphere and unique experiences that make this event stand out.
The vendor market runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., featuring over 50 vendors offering everything from antiques and collectibles to artisan crafts, handmade jewelry, plants, and blacksmith goods. A special Youth Entrepreneur Market will spotlight young creators showcasing and selling their handmade items, encouraging the next generation of makers and business owners.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy delicious food and refreshments. The Twistee Treat Diner will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., while the Pink Elephant Antique Mall & Mother Road Fudge & Candy will welcome visitors from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
