July 18

Event Website

During the Weekend of Local, communities along Oklahoma’s 400-plus miles of Route 66 are invited to create and unveil new murals celebrating the Mother Road. This statewide initiative encourages towns to showcase local artists, highlight community identity, and add vibrant public art to the Route 66 corridor. It’s a collaborative effort that brings color, creativity, and hometown pride to every corner of Oklahoma’s stretch of the Mother Road.
