Start your engines and welcome 2026 in true Mother Road style at the Williams New Year’s Eve Celebration—officially launching a year of Route 66 Centennial festivities. As the last town bypassed by I-40, Williams proudly becomes the first to ring in the 100th anniversary of Route 66 with a celebration unlike anything else on the road.

First Annual Car Drop
Move over, New York ball drop—Williams is making history with a car drop! Watch a beautifully restored 1927 Chevrolet Capitol descend above a vintage gas station set, honoring the year Route 66 was born. It’s bold, nostalgic, and truly one-of-a-kind.

Exclusive Beer & Wine Festival
Sip and savor local Arizona brews and wines as you toast to the new year alongside fellow travelers and Route 66 fans. Raise a glass to the Centennial under the starry Williams sky.

Spectacular Fireworks
A dazzling fireworks display will light up the entire downtown, sending off 2025 and welcoming 2026 with color and excitement.

Live Entertainment
Enjoy performances by Brent Sutton and a lively celebration hosted by EMCEE and DJ Joseph Howe. Expect great music, high energy, and plenty of small-town charm.
