Galena Days returns in 2026 with four days of small-town charm, Route 66 nostalgia, and community celebration in the heart of Galena, Kansas. Held annually during the first weekend of June, this much-loved event fills the city with live entertainment, carnival excitement, local flavor, and family traditions that draw visitors from across the region.
From Wednesday through Saturday, the festival comes alive each evening from 5–11 p.m. with live music from regional performers, delicious food vendors, and a full lineup of carnival rides and games. Laughter, music, and the classic scent of fair food float through the air as crowds enjoy the lively, welcoming atmosphere.
Special attractions highlight Galena’s Route 66 heritage and community pride, including a classic car show, artisan craft booths, parades, pageants, and family-friendly competitions. The celebration reaches its peak on Saturday night with a dazzling fireworks show that lights up the sky over Historic Route 66.
