Celebrate the Mother Road’s 100th anniversary with Cycle 66, a premier urban-and-rural cycling experience that showcases miles of historic Route 66 and the scenic beauty surrounding Edmond. With distances for every skill level—including 1-, 18-, 33-, 66-, and 100-mile routes—Cycle 66 invites both casual riders and dedicated cyclists to take part in this unforgettable Centennial-year event. A fast-paced, USA Cycling–sanctioned criterium race, the Crit @ Cycle 66, adds high-energy excitement in downtown Edmond.
Cycle 66 continues its tradition of supporting community organizations, donating proceeds to groups such as the Oklahoma Route 66 Association, YMCA, and Bike Club OKC. Expect route support from local law enforcement, a festive downtown atmosphere, extended business hours, food and drink specials, and cheering crowds along Broadway Avenue as riders cross the shared finish line.
The weekend also includes live music, packet pickup festivities, and special activities around downtown Edmond. Whether you’re riding a few miles or tackling the full century, Cycle 66 offers a one-of-a-kind way to honor Route 66’s legacy during its landmark Centennial year.
