Chrysler Tower: Grand LIGHTS ON Ceremony

April 11 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm CDT

Event Website

Bristow is ready to glow. On April 11, 2026, the tallest freestanding neon sign on historic Route 66 will shine again as the restored Chrysler Tower is officially relit.

Dark since the 1950s, this ten-story automobilia icon has undergone a complete restoration, including brand-new neon, and has been permanently relocated to Chrysler Tower Plaza in downtown Bristow along Route 66. The Grand LIGHTS ON Ceremony marks a major preservation milestone for the Mother Road, and a proud moment for the community.

The evening festival will feature food vendors, a designated children’s activity area, and live music at 9th and Main. Main Street (Route 66) will be closed to traffic from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. so families can gather safely for the celebration.
