Step into the glow of Route 66 history at this Brown Bag Lunch & Learn focused on one of the Mother Road’s most iconic features: the neon sign.
Artist Cameron Eagle, a neon collector himself, will explore the artistry, symbolism, and cultural impact of the glowing signs that once lined Route 66. From motels and diners to service stations and roadside attractions, neon became a powerful visual language of the American road trip—bold, colorful, and impossible to ignore.
During the presentation, Eagle will discuss the iconography behind these illuminated landmarks and why they continue to captivate travelers and preservationists alike.
Guests are welcome to bring their own lunch or purchase one at The Museum Grill.
