The Tulsa Postcard Mural is a large painted mural designed in the style of a vintage postcard, with the word TULSA spelled out in bold, retro-lettering and filled with significant city landmarks and icons that represent the spirit and culture of Tulsa.
The mural was created in 2015 by artist Billy Brakhage, inspired by the famous “Greetings from Austin” postcard mural in Texas. Like its predecessor, it uses bright colors and nostalgic imagery to capture a sense of place and welcome visitors to the city.

Each letter in TULSA contains illustrations of local landmarks and cultural symbols, such as the Appeal to the Great Spirit statue, the BOK Tower, a former motel, the Center of the Universe, the Tulsa Drillers stadium, and more iconic elements of Tulsa life and history.
Where is the mural located?
You’ll find this mural on the side of the Provisions Fine Beverage Purveyors Warehouse Building at 211 N. Boulder Ave, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in downtown Tulsa’s Brady Arts District, an area known for galleries, restaurants, and public art. It is located behind a fence but visible from the sidewalk.
