Traveling on Route 66 and not sure if you’re in the mood for a slice of pepperoni pizza, a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, a double hamburger topped with cheese, a double scoop of ooey gooey butter cake ice cream, or an All-American breakfast? Don’t worry, there’s a place for you. The Mother Road Market in Tulsa is Oklahoma’s first food hall and the place to stop on your Route 66 road trip to fulfill just about anything you’re craving for lunch or dinner on the Mother Road.

The Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation (LTFF) opened Tulsa’s Mother Road Market in November 2018. They wanted a place where food businesses could launch lower-risk concepts while providing a variety of culinary choices for hungry locals and visitors alike. Located inside the historic 1939 Scrivner-Stevens Co. Grocery building, this Route 66 food hall quickly became a neighborhood community hangout.

The Mother Road Market now hosts over 25 different businesses, including food and retail stands, offers wine and beer tastings and cooking classes, and hosts private events. An ever-changing roster of restaurants inside offer pizza, tacos, burgers, sushi, brunch dishes, hot chicken, ice cream, and more.

There’s also a patio portion outside that features live music, a Route 66 roadside attraction-themed mini golf course, and a bar.
